Tom Swatzel -Chairman
Chief Executive Officer- Capt. Dick's Marina in Murrells Inlet. Served two terms on the Georgetown County Council. Graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in Marine Biology. Former board member of both the Myrtle Beach Area and Georgetown County Chambers of Commerce. Served on the national board of the Citizen Legislator Caucus Foundation and was recently elected Chairman of the Georgetown County Republican Party. Swatzel resides in Murrells Inlet with wife Susie and daughter Hayley .

Randy Page - President
Prior to joining SCRG, Page was a senior associate with Richard Quinn and Associates. He also served as Chief of Staff to Lt. Governor André Bauer, Legislative Affairs Director to Lt. Governor Bob Peeler and Director of Public Events for Governor David Beasley. Page has also served as Fourth Congressional District Chairman for the South Carolina Republican Party and as a member of the Greenville County Library System’s Board of Trustees. He is a member of Kennerly Road Baptist Church.  Page resides in Lexington with his wife Melissa and their two children.

Joe Perry Johnson III -Secretary
Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for High Tech Heat, Inc. Graduated from Wofford College with a BA in Business Economics. Graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College and currently serving as the Commander of the South Carolina Selective Service Detachment. Resides in Pawleys Island with wife Susanne.

Fayrine Brown-Capers
Founder and Administrator – Capers Preparatory Christian Academy – Johns Island, SC. Throughout her professional career, Mrs. Capers has served as a teacher, principal and administrator in both public and private schools in South Carolina. She is currently writing a book entitled “Teaching At Risk Youth”. Mrs. Capers has earned an M.A.T. in Early Childhood Education from the College of Charleston, an M.Ed in Educational Leadership from the Citadel and an Ed.S from The Citadel. She is currently working on her doctoral dissertation as she pursues an Ed.D in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Capers lives in Charleston.

Chad Connelly
Chad Connelly is the Founder and President of the Freedom Tide Foundation, an organization committed to educating Americans about free enterprise and the foundational principles which have made America great. He received his Civil Engineering degree from Clemson University in 1985, and after spending 7 years in the corporate world, decided to take the plunge and begin a business of his own. In the last 13 years, he has helped people experience the entrepreneurial challenge for themselves and now does business across America. He is the author of the book, Freedom Tide, which has sold over 30,000 copies and he speaks nationally on topics ranging from leadership and responsibility to free enterprise and America's providential heritage.  Chad and his wife, Dana, live in Prosperity with their four children, C.J., Leigha, Bennett and Summer.

Wendy Keefer
Wendy Keefer graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Campbell University Law School (J.D., Magna Cum Laude, 1997). After law school, she served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable J.L. Edmondson of the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, 1997-98. Wendy has worked on a number of legislative proposals and policy initiatives, as well as working with the White House on judicial nominations. She currently practices law at Barnwell, Whaley Patterson & Helms, LLC in Charleston.

Dr. Oran P. Smith
Dr. Smith is a graduate of Clemson University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and the University of South Carolina, where he received an MPA and PhD. A native of Greer, Dr. Smith lives in Leesville with his wife Kristin and their two children Stephen (6) and Elizabeth (3). He is a member of First Presbyterian Church (ARP), Columbia where he serves as a Deacon. He is a member of the board of trustees of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC where he chairs the Academic Affairs Committee.

Don Weaver
Don Weaver graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in 1997. He earned his South Carolina Real Estate Broker's License in 1990 and is currently employed as a realtor with the RE/MAX Advantage Group in Columbia. He is President of the South Carolina Association of Taxpayers (SCAT), a position he has held since 1998. He lives in Columbia with his wife, Wanda and their two year old son.

Huey Mills
Dr. Mills is a South Carolina education leader, serving as Vice President of the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools and on Lt. Governor Andre Bauer's Education Advisory Committee. In addition to pastoring, Dr. Mills has taught at two Bible colleges and administered two Christian schools, one of which is Carolina Christian Academy that he founded in 1996. Dr. Mills graduated with a BA from Southern Wesleyan University and holds a B.S.L. from Holmes Theological Seminary, a M.R.E. from Heritge Graduate School and a PH.D. from Andersonville Baptist Seminary.
